of Greater Santa Barbara

Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold, providing more than 140,000 girls across the U.S. and Canada with life-changing experiences and real solutions to the unique biases and obstacles girls face. Our trained and trusted professionals mentor girls in a safe, inclusive, pro-girl environment that fosters respect and amplifies the voices of girls. And our evidence-based programming provides opportunities for girls to follow their curiosities, cultivate their strengths and build leadership skills.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion work is a foundational part of our mission and vision, and we affirm that advancing social justice and cultural proficiency within our organization will benefit the youth we serve, our staff, and our community overall.

Informed by the experiences of girls and their families, we also work with the larger Girls Inc. network and policymakers to advocate for legislation and initiatives that protect and advance girls’ rights, opportunities, and promote inclusivity and equality.
