Each day after school, girls at our licensed childcare centers enjoy quality, structured, educational and research-based enrichment programs designed to instill the specific knowledge, skills, and attitudes girls need to thrive. Girls are transported to our centers in Girls Inc. vans from more than 30 local schools. Each quarter (generally 10 weeks long), girls in Kindergarten-8th grades select classes from our programming schedule. Classes are designed for specific age groups and include science and math, literacy, sports, art, cooking, library skills, computers, performing arts, and much more. Classes are developmentally appropriate and implemented by caring, qualified, and trained professionals with a 14:1 girl-to-staff ratio so that each girl gets personalized attention. Each day after their Girls Inc. classes are over, girls finish their day by working on school homework with the aid of our instructors and volunteers.

What Parents Are Saying About Girls Inc.

“Girls Inc. offers us a fantastic environment with rewarding activities for our daughter all in one facility. As working, full time parents, we appreciate knowing that she is being picked up from school and taken to a place where she will be active and challenged academically every afternoon. We never worry about her when she is there.”

“My daughter is sometimes shy and intimidated by boys and an all-girls program has allowed her to gain confidence where she might have held back more. Plus, Girls Inc. has a great reputation of instilling in our young women the awareness that they can be strong and powerful members of society. Girls Inc. has a capable and caring staff and their free transportation helps too!”

“Girls Inc. was recommended by a colleague. After attending the first orientation I picked up my cell, called my mom and spent 30 minutes talking in tears of joy! This place is a dream come true!”

“My daughter has always been a confident, independent girl. What she gains from Girls Inc. is a way to be in a community of other girls that all have their own special personalities. She has become a better friend and better at respecting the adults/teachers in her world.”
