of Greater Santa Barbara

Champions for Girls

Girls Inc. Champions for Girls are generous individuals, foundations, local businesses, and corporations who are dedicated to inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Annual gifts of $1,000 or greater qualify for the Champion for Girls designation. Every dollar contributed to Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara stays in our community to support programs or provide financial assistance, allowing girls from low-income families to participate in our after-school and summer camp programs.

Champions for Girls are recognized annually by name on this page and in our annual report, and are acknowledged and thanked at an annual reception.

"I am looking forward to having Girls Inc. back in our lives, most importantly in the girls’ lives. Before the pandemic occurred, I felt secure, and I felt safe knowing my girls were at Girls Inc. while I was working. It is extremely helpful knowing that Monday through Friday, staff are working with each and every grade, doing different activities, which were always hands-on."

Keep on trying! For me it’s easy because you keep on trying every day. Girls Inc. teaches me to speak out loud and never be shy.
