Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara welcomes Showers of Blessing to its Santa Barbara Center during the COVID-19 crisis. The local nonprofit provides free showers to our community’s homeless to promote health and restore dignity among our most vulnerable population.
Each Wednesday throughout April and May, Showers of Blessing will set up their portable shower units in the parking lot of the Santa Barbara Center, located at 531 E. Ortega St., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Approximately 25-30 people are being served from the Girls Inc. location each week.
