Girls Inc Gymnastics is moving all programming out to our Goleta location for 2023, after our downtown Santa Barbara site sold earlier this year.
In regards to our gymnastics programming, keep these important dates in mind:
- November 18th, 2022- Last recreation gymnastics class at Santa Barbara Center
- December 2nd, 2022- Last competitive team practice at Santa Barbara Center
- December 5th, 2022- Gymnastics registration begins. Please check out our 2023 schedule here.
- January 9th, 2023- Gymnastics programming resumes at our Goleta Valley Center only.
The sale of the Ortega Street property provides Girls Inc. with the resources and the necessary flexibility to adopt usher in a new era of Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara and make more significant investments in our programming for girls through our new strategic direction. We assure you that Girls Inc. remains committed to serving girls in the Santa Barbara community – albeit in different ways that are more in tune with girls’ needs.
While we’re excited about the future, we also honor the ways our Santa Barbara Center has deeply impacted our community and so many families. We take this legacy as the pre-eminent girls’ leadership organization seriously.
