October 3, 2017: Empowering Girls to Stand Against Bullying
Facilitated by Susan Silver, LCSW and MBA
Parents will learn what signs to look for in their girls who may be experiencing bullying, and strategies for how to ask open-ended questions to get their girls talking.
Susan Silver is a clinical social worker with extensive experience offering parenting workshops in a variety of settings for parents of newborns to teens. Susan’s workshops often take the form of support groups where participants are invited to share their individual experiences around the core topic. The benefit of support groups lies in that if one parent is experiencing a problem, the likelihood is that others have gone through it, or are going through a similar situation. Susan is a parent to two daughters and two stepchildren.
